New Section – “Aged”

As we roll into 2010, SmokeScore is proud to announce a new section called “Aged”.
The “Aged” section reviews will focus on cigars that have been properly stored for long term aging.
We will be reviewing sticks with a minimum of two years of age but many will have 5, 10 even 30 years of age.
“Aged” reviews will not contain an official score due to lack of availability of multiple samples for a proper review. They will stand on their own merit and will be reviewed based on the same criteria as any other review on SmokeScore.
Some of the sticks we will be reviewing include:
1977 Sancho Panza
1962 Montecristo Edmundo
1992 Montecristo No.2
1995 Fuente Opus X Robusto
2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Camacho Liberty
2003 Cohiba Limitado
and many more.
Look for the first “Aged” review in early January 2010.

COMING SOON – Smoke Score Top 10 of 2009
As the Holiday season approaches, we reflect on our the year that passed and look forward to 2010. In that regard, SmokeScore is currently assembling our Top 10 Cigars of 2009.
We will present the Top 10 list on Friday, December 18th.
That will be preceded by a week of reflection on 2009 which will end on Friday with the Top 10 of the Year.
Our week of reflection will include:
Monday, December 14th – Top 5 New Cigars of 2009
Tuesday, December 15th – Top 5 Cuban Cigars of 2009
Wednesday, December 16th – Top 5 Value Cigars of 2009
Thursday, December 17th – Top 5 Limited Release Cigars of 2009
Friday, December 18th – TOP 10 CIGARS of 2009

Welcome to the new SmokeScore.com

We apologize for the extended hiatus, but we were cooking up lots of changes to the website.
After much debate, we’ve decided to change formats so we could focus exclusively on Cigar reviews, news and ratings. For that reason, LeafandGrape.com is now SmokeScore.com.
We are very excited with the new changes and new format. We’ve got lots of great things planned in the coming months that we know you’ll love. We will of course continue with our regular contests as well as some amazing new interviews.
And as always, we hope you enjoy reading as much as we enjoy writing and living it.
